Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Ivy League Tutoring & Test Prep and the tutoring services we provide. By using our website or by enrolling a student in any of our programs, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to enter into a service agreement with us. Students under 18 may participate in tutoring only with a parent or legal guardian's written consent.

2. Services

We provide one-on-one tutoring and small-group instruction in SAT and ACT preparation, K–12 academic subjects, and college admissions consulting. The specific services purchased will be set out in the enrollment form or invoice.

3. Payment

• Single sessions are billed at the time of booking.
• Package programs may be paid in full or via the installment plan published on our pricing page.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Zelle, Venmo, and personal checks.
• Returned checks or failed installments are subject to a $25 fee.

4. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds

• Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled free of charge.
• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are forfeit, except in cases of illness or family emergency — in which case, contact us and we'll work it out.
• Unused portions of multi-session packages are refundable on a pro-rated basis for the first 30 days after purchase; thereafter, refunds are at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to refund any client's remaining balance and end the engagement if we determine we are not the right fit.

5. No guarantee of results

While we are proud of our students' outcomes, no tutor can guarantee a specific test score, GPA, or college admission decision. Results depend on many factors, including the student's effort, attendance, and prior preparation.

6. Conduct and acceptable use

Students and parents agree to attend sessions on time, complete assigned homework to the best of their ability, and treat instructors with respect. We reserve the right to end an engagement (with pro-rated refund) for repeated no-shows, abusive behavior, or violations of academic integrity.

7. Intellectual property

All curricula, workbooks, and proprietary materials we provide are licensed to you for personal study only. They may not be redistributed, resold, or used to operate a competing tutoring service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Arizona law, our liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mohave County, Arizona.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL and will apply to services purchased after the "Last updated" date.
